You won’t be surprised to learn that there isn’t a one-size fits-all solution when it comes to cellos. As with violins and violas you need the right sized cello for your age, shape and height.

If you are between two different sizes, you’ll likely be more comfortable with the smaller instrument.

Yes, the lowly music stand remains one of the most important accessories for musicians.  Here are some of the reasons why:

1.  A music stand makes your sheet music vertical and easy to see.

2.  A music stand gives you a convenient place to keep your sheet music and books–plus your metronome, tuner, and pencil.

3.  Music stands take up only a tiny amount of floor space.  Any other piece of furniture that could hold as much would take up too much space.

4.  A music stand defines a room (or even a portion of a room) as being reserved for practicing and playing music.

Without a music stand, you’ll have to place your sheet music on a table or desk.   It’s difficult to look down at your music on a table and still play your instrument comfortably.  And, there’s even one worse situation: placing your music on a bed.  This forces you to sit next to your music and twist around to read your music.

Another issue comes up with many musicians who do not use music stands: they frequently lose their music and never seem to know where their metronome is.  Without the music stand to serve as a central location to keep these materials, a lot of time can be wasted looking for lost music and accessories.

7. declined Auto Payments or Expired CC AutoPays will be assessed a fee of $7.50 per month.

8. all payments include MN State Sales Tax.

9. I Agree to have A to G Music deduct my Monthly Payment on the provide Credit Card or Checking Account provided at time of instrument pickup.

10. Declined Payments — If after a 2 nd Credit Card Auto Payment is declined for any reason, A to G Music requires that the payment method be changed to direct debit from the purchaser’s checking account via ACH processing.
